CERESIT® CT 177 is used for making decorative, colourful plaster coatings on traditional plasters, concrete and gypsum substrates, on chipboard, plasterboard. The binder is transparent resins and the fillers are coloured quartz pebbles. After setting, a colourful render is obtained. CT 177 is recommended for use on walls exposed to abrasion and dirt inside buildings. Outside buildings, it is recommended for use on surfaces subject to rapid soiling. Available pack size: 25 kg.
CERESIT CT 177 can be applied to even, load-bearing, colour-uniform, dry and free from substances that reduce adhesion substrates. The substrate must be sound, dry, clean and free from agents that impair the adhesion of subsequent layers. Old paint coatings of low resistance, wallpaper or any soiling should be removed. CT 177 can be applied after the quartz primer CT 16 has dried completely.
Immediately before use, stir the contents of the container with a slow-speed drill with a basket mixer until a homogeneous consistency. Apply the plaster mass evenly with a stainless steel trowel in a layer min. 5 times the thickness of the grain. Subsequent layers should be applied wet-on-wet and smoothed. On one surface work without technological break, maintaining uniform consistency of the material.
The works should be carried out in dry conditions, at the temperature of air and substrate from +10°C to +25°C and relative humidity of air below 80%. Freshly after application, plaster CERESIT CT 177 has a milky colour, which disappears as it dries. With prolonged contact with water, it may temporarily return, until the surface dries again. Avoid using CT 177 plaster in areas exposed to prolonged dampness.
CERESIT CT 177 is used for making decorative, colourful plaster coatings. CT 177 is recommended for use on walls exposed to abrasion and dirt inside buildings, e.g. at entrances, in corridors and on staircases. Outside buildings, CT 177 is recommended for use on surfaces subject to rapid soiling: plinths, balustrades, on window and door jambs.
CERESIT CT 177 can be applied on traditional plasters, on concrete substrates, gypsum substrates as well as on chipboard, gypsum plasterboard, etc.
