Features and benefits

Waterproofing coat for horizontal and vertical substrates of buildings, structural elements and tanks (≤ 7.5 m), as well as for internal waterproofing of monolithic water tanks.

Properties

Description

CERESIT® CR 100 is used on horizontal and vertical substrates of of buildings, structural elements and tanks of buildings, structural elements and tanks: for waterproofing against water pressure, for internal waterproofing of monolithic water tanks, as well as drinking water tanks and swimming pools with a water depth of ≤7.5 m, for subsequent waterproofing from the negative side. Concrete protection - CR 100 is exceptionally well-suited for improving the resistance of concrete substrates, even with varying quality and structure of the concrete. CR 100 can be used as a final layer on substrates that are not exposed to mechanical action.Available pack size: 20kg, 25kg

How to use

CERESIT CR 100 WATERPROOFING COAT SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Before applying CERESIT CR 100, it is necessary to pre-wet the substrate, without forming a joint. For internal or external waterproofing of the substrate of of walls and foundations, e.g., in case of moisture penetration from the rear walls and foundations, for example, in the case of moisture penetration from the rear, it is necessary to pre-treat the substrates with silicone liquid CERESIT CO 8. When waterproofing is applied with the side of the negative side, the substrate must have sufficient mechanical strength.

APPLICATION OF CERESIT CR 100 WATERPROOFING COAT

CERESIT CR 100 should be applied in two layers (wet on wet) until the desired thickness. Apply with a brush (preferably with a wide brush for painting walls) on a damp but not wet substrate, while subsequent coats layers can be applied with a trowel or brush. It is necessary to apply a fresh coat protect it from drying too quickly and from direct sunlight. The second layer should be applied on top of the hardened first layer, which is still moist, but without sifting. The third layer - if needed - should be applied in the same manner.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE WHEN USING CERESIT CR 100 WATERPROOFING COAT

Protect the waterproofing layer from damage. Do not cover with with gypsum materials. In the event that the waterproofing substrate is covered with tiles, it is necessary to use an adhesive for tiles tiles with a quality class of at least C It is possible to walk over CERESIT CR 100 layer after 3 days; however, even after it has completely drying, the coating must not be directly exposed to high mechanical loads.
