CERESIT® CM 14 adhesive mortar serves for laying gres and other ceramic, cement and natural stone tiles, indoors and outdoors as well as on deformable substrates (e.g. floor heating). CM 14 mortar can be used in rooms exposed to water. It is recommended for floors with elevated functional loads: in shopping malls, staircases. The mortar’s high adherence makes it recommendable for laying tiles also on critical substrates. Available pack size: 25kg
CERESIT CM 14 adheres to all clean, solid, load-bearing, even, dry and moist substrates, which are free from substances which can reduce adhesion. Uneven areas or depressions should be levelled before. Substrates must not be wet. Any existing dirt, loose layers and paint coats with low strength must be removed mechanically.
Pour the content of the packaging into the measured amount of clean, cool water and mix it with a drill mixer until a homogenous mass without lumps is obtained. It is necessary to wait for 5 minutes (maturing time) and then mix it once again. If necessary, carefully add water until the desired consistency is achieved.
The adhesive should be applied with a suitable notched trowel, depending on the respective tile size. For indoor use, the mortar coverage (contact area) at the back of the tile must be at least 65 %. For outdoor use, a minimum mortar coverage of 90 % is required.
CERESIT CM 14 adheres to gres and other ceramic, cement and natural stone (colour-fast) tiles, as well as on deformable substrates (e.g. floor heating).

Installation work should be carried out in dry conditions at air and substrate temperatures of +5 °C to +25 °C.
