CERESIT® CL 150 tape is made of tear-resistant polypropylene non-woven fabric coated with butyl rubber. It is used to reinforce flexible watertight coatings CERESIT CL 50 and CR 166 at the joints of vertical and horizontal surfaces, corners, edges, expansion joints, installation passages, etc. CL 150 is especially recommended for sealing the connection between flashing and screed/concrete and eliminates the need to make a resin tack layer and sand backfill on flashings.Available size: 30m.
CERESIT CL 150 can be used on sound, compact and free of substrates substances reducing adhesion, such as: fats, dusts, release agents, etc. Existing dirt, layers of low strength and all paint coatings and anti-adhesive substances must be removed. Depths and substrates with an irregular surface must be levelled.
Remove the protective paper from the CERESIT CL 150 tape, place it with the sticky side on the substrate and press it firmly. In the corners, the tape should be shape at right angles. After sticking the tape, it should be on her seal the surface in at least two coats layers. The tape should be joined with an overlap of min. 5 cm.
Work should be carried out in dry conditions at temperature air and ground from +5°C to +25°C. The CERESIT CL 150 tape together with the insulating layer should be covered with tiles in the shortest possible time from application. CL 150 must not be exposed UV rays.
