CERESIT® CT 19 is a quick-setting primer for safe bonding between ceramic coverings, natural stone, floors and wall cement substrates and critical surfaces. For internal and external application. CT 19 is used for preparing the substrate before applying adhesive for laying ceramic tiles, wall and floor coverings and before applying plaster. CT 19 is a perfect solution for all absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.Available bucket size: 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg.
All surfaces must be clean, without cracks, solid, dry and without substances that can negatively affect adhesion. Completely remove the adhesives on the water-base and remove as much waterproof adhesives as possible.
Shake the contents of the CERESIT CT 19 package several times. Do not mix CT 19 with other additives. Close the bucket immediately after the use. Product residues need to be used as soon as possible.
Immediately after mixing, apply the CERESIT CT 19 primer with a brush or roller. Apply thin layer without the formation of clumps. After complete drying, surfaces must be resistant to scratches. After application, clean the tools with water. Hardened material is possible to remove with thinner or paint remover.
CERESIT CT 19 is a special primer for improving bonding on critical substrates. CT 19 is perfect solution for indoor and outdoor due to strong adhesion to critical substrates and fast drying. CT 19 is used for tile-on-tile application, application on PVC and concrete substrate.
CERESIT CT 19 primer is suitable for following substrates: calcium substrates, sulphate, cement, asphalt mastic, dry screed; concrete, concrete vacuum; wooden coverings such as solid floorboards, chipboard or OSB boards; levelling compounds, tiles, coverings made of natural or artificial stone; dispersion and solid colours; limestone, lime-cement and cement plasters, gypsum plasters and plasterboards; reinforced panels; porous concrete; old substrates with adhesive residues; solid PVC coverings.
Works should be carried out with ambient and substrate temperature from +5 °C to +35 °C.
