CERESIT® CM 49 is a highly deformable, fibre-reinforced, white, and dust-reduced special adhesive mortar for all types of tiles, slabs and natural stone indoors and outdoors. For the secure bonding of large-format tiles and slabs due to high adhesion tensile strength and stress-relieving, decoupling properties. Also for thin porcelain stoneware slabs with and without fiberglass mesh on the back. Can also be used on young cement screeds with dust-reduced properties.Available pack size: 20 kg.
CERESIT CM 49 adheres to all sound, load-bearing, clean, dry and damp substrates free of substances which may impair adhesion. Remove coatings of insufficient bearing strength. Use CERESIT CT 19 to prime nonabsorbent substrates. Freshly installed, clean cement screeds (3-5 days after installation) do not need to be primed before installing the floor covering.
Mix CERESIT CM 49 with clean, clear water and stir until the mixture is completely free of lumps. Leave the mortar to mature for approx. 5 minutes and then stir again. If necessary, add small amounts of water until the desired consistency is reached.
Apply CERESIT CM 49 according to the generally recognized rules of the thin-bed resp. medium-bed method or use the buttering-floating method. Allow for a skin formation time of approx. 40 minutes. Use a trowel with a suitable notch size to ensure cavity free placement of the tiles and slabs.
Works with white cement and trass - ideal for light natural stones, glass mosaic and cement screeds.
Suitable for indoors and outdoors, kitchens, bathrooms, terraces, balconies and heated floors.
Work should be carried out in dry conditions at temperature air and ground from +5°C to +30°C.
