CERESIT® CE 40 is high quality, extra fine, cementitious grout for joint widths of 1-8 mm. Particularly suitable for earthenware, stoneware and glass mosaic and glass tiles, natural and artificial stone (insensitive to moisture, free of discoloration). Silica Active technology ensures crack-free and high abrasion-resistant, durable, beautiful & colour-stable joints.Available pack size: 5 kg.
The tile adhesive/laying mortar must be cured and be dry before applying CERESIT CE 40. Clean joints from adhesive mortar. Carry out test grouting to determine whether the surface can be cleaned perfectly after grouting. This is particularly recommended for intensive colour tones.
Mix CERESIT CE 40 with the specified quantity of clean water. Mix with a drill and mixing paddle with approx. 600 rpm. mix without lumps and knots. Leave to rest for a few minutes and mix again before the application.
Apply CERESIT CE 40 with rubber spatula diagonally to the joint direction. Clean the tile surface with a sponge and pure water. In addition washing the area after 1 to 2 hours is recommended to protect the fresh grouting.
CERESIT CE 40 is recommended for indoor and outdoor use and in wet areas for surface finish on the tiles. CE 40 is particularly suitable for ceramic, stoneware and glass mosaic and glass tiles, natural and artificial stone (insensitive to moisture, free of discoloration). Use CE 40 for narrow and wide joints of 1 to 8 mm.
